New Bone Center Established at Kennedy Krieger Institute

10.30.07 - Launched in the Fall of 2007, The Bone Center at Kennedy Krieger Institute is an umbrella program for existing programs such as the Clinic, and other bone conditions that are prevalent in other patients with cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, etc. Care for current patients will not change at all; but the Bone Center will aim to reach out to individuals with osteoporosis, juvenile osteoporosis, idiopathic osteoporosis, and other skeletal conditions. Dr. Jay R. Shapiro is the Director, and other well-known orthopedic professionals such as Dr. Paul Sponseller, Dr. Arabella Leet, are involved with this endeavor. Learn more…
